The location of this cottage is absolutely fantastic. It is right in the heart of everything, with the town center, beach, and pier all just a short walk away. the property itself is clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and fluffy towels in the bathroom. the cottage comes with a designated parking space, which is a great convenience in a busy area like this.
It is worth mentioning that there were issues with the blinds in the bedrooms, causing them to not work properly. This resulted in an early wake-up call for my son, which was a bit frustrating.

We had a brilliant time during our Christmas getaway! The cottage was lovely and light, with plenty of natural lighting from the loft windows. It was also incredibly clean and spacious, giving us lots of room to relax and unwind. One of the best things was the easy parking and accessibility, making it hassle-free to come and go. The beds were comfortable too, with the option to split them into singles or doubles. We really enjoyed the fact that everything we needed was provided, making it a hassle-free stay. The host, John, was also very helpful and there were no issues with the key. We loved our time here so much that we have already booked for next year!
While there weren't many negative aspects, parking was limited due to the narrow streets in the area, but this is to be expected in such a popular location. One suggestion we have is to provide an additional small bed option in the twin room, as it would be great for families with three small children.

One issue reported by guests was the wifi not working.

We had a wonderful stay at a delightful cottage right in the heart of our favorite Christmas destination. Swales Cottage was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. It was so convenient being close to everything and being able to show our 6, month, old daughter around. Our friends were jealous of how cozy and well, equipped the cottage was. the proximity to the town center and coast, as well as the designated parking, were a bonus. We would definitely stay here again as it was great value for money.
Nothing negative to say about our experience. 👍.

Our recent stay at Swales Cottage was fantastic. We loved the location, right in the heart of everything, with the beach, pier. The cottage was incredibly clean and tidy, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The parking space outside was a huge plus, making it convenient for us to explore the area with our Grandma. The owner was extremely helpful and even left a thoughtful gift for my husband's birthday. Despite a minor issue with the blinds in the bedrooms, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our trip. we highly recommend this cottage.

Outdated property, not much done since the 80s/90s. Poorly equipped kitchen and inconvenient smoke alarm placement.

I recently stayed in a lovely cottage in a great location. It was close to all amenities and only a short walk from the harbor. the cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the necessary toiletries and cleaning supplies. the beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I especially appreciated the informative and friendly host who made check-in easy. it was a cozy and comfortable stay with fantastic value for money. I would highly recommend it.
There was a lack of grit on the roads near the cottage, making it difficult to access with a car.
